When Winsor & Newton, the world’s leading fine art materials manufacturer wanted to create a completely new range of super premium water colour papers, they asked us to help launch the new products.
Within the world of professional artists Winsor & Newton are respected for the quality of theirs paints, inks and brushes. However they are relatively unknown for their water colour papers. The quality of the new range of papers is set to compete with the best in the world.
We started by immersing ourselves in the Winsor & Newton brand with visits to their fantastically inspirational artists’ studios and materials development labs to learn about the attributes and qualities of the fine artist’s papers.
We then set about building an in-store communication suite that helped educate and inspire users by clearly defining the aesthetic and technical benefits of the new products.
This project set the benchmark for the way in which Winsor & Newton communicate in-store and led to us developing the standards and guidelines for all in-store communication.
